Important notice
Guidelines for Poster Presentations:
Only digital posters are accepted for presentations. Please follow following guidelines when creating digital posters.
- All digital posters must be submitted in power point format.
- A one minute narrative explaining the poster should be embedded/accompanied
- All digital posters must be submitted in 16:9 landscape orientation .
- Maximum of 4 slides for a digital poster, organized as you wish. Posters that consist of only a single slide can still have embedded animations and/or multimedia. JPEG or PNG is the preferred file format for inserted images. Please be mindful of copyright of photos/graphics used when creating your poster.
- Font – Arial or Times New Roman. Font size: 30-40pt for Titles/Headings 14-20pt for text blocks are recommended (Note that font sizes under 14pt will be hard for other delegates to read).
- Posters will be displayed for the duration of the conference and presenters will be asked to discuss their poster with a selected group of researchers at specified times during the conference.
- All posters must be in place ahead of judging and please be with your poster across the Tea and Lunch break to answer any judges’ questions.
- A minimum of one of the authors must be an attending delegate at the conference.
- Please E mail your poster to truamasec@health.gov.lk before 20th November 2024.
Guidelines for Oral Presentations
Five minutes to convey the significance of the submitted work to the audience and two minutes for questions

All presenters should register for the conference.
Registration fees:
International participants USD 100/- (can be paid at the conference venue).
Invitation
The Trauma Secretariat (TS) of Sri Lanka invite abstracts for the National Trauma Conference –Sri Lanka 2024 , to be held on November 2024 at Colombo.
The Scientific Committee will accept abstracts related to all aspects of trauma care, from pre-hospital care to rehabilitation. For the specific categories for this year and more details please click the link below:
Abstracts must:
1. Not exceed 300 words, excluding title, authors and affiliations.
2. Include the first name, surname and affiliations of all authors separately.
3. Include an overview of the intent and purpose of the presentation.
4. Not include any tables or figures.
5. Include a title that is less than 150 characters with spaces.
6. Include a biography of less than 150 words for the presenting author. This is not included in the abstract word count.
7. Include presenting author details as follows

9. Graphical abstracts are also welcome
